Our Story

Kinetic was founded in 1998 by Chris Wildsmith and Steve Ashley with a simple belief: the operations behind education and events should be as dynamic as the communities they serve. Our name reflects that. Kinetic energy is motion and the potential for change, and that's how we approach everything we do.

More than 25 years on, that belief still drives us. We help institutions look after more than 700,000 student bedrooms and 180 million bed-nights a year. In 2015 we joined Volaris Group, which gives us the backing of a global software group while we stay focused on our customers and our people. Today we're building what comes next: an intelligent, AI-powered platform for education and hospitality operations, built through innovation, not imitation.

  • Bonus

    Kinetic has an annual bonus based on company performance, your personal factor will depend on the role you apply for.

    We contribute 5% when you contribute 3%.

  • Hybrid Working

    Hybrid working gives you the flexibility to balance your own needs with those of the business. We value time together in our Milton Keynes and Ludlow offices, and our North America team works fully remotely.
